Complaint: Continued abuse of authority by both Dina, nurse practitioner, and Dr. Rakesh Ranjan M.D., Fairlawn office.Retaliatory behavior for the first complaint that was filed in late summer of 2007. Acute mental, verbal and emotional torture by both Ranjan and Dina in Fairlawn office to the point of physical illness (the evening and the day after both abusive appointments in August and December 10 of 2007); abuse of authority and retaliatory behavior from Mrs. Julia Davis, case manager under Rakesh Ranjan's employ, resulting in acute emotional, mental and worsening of physical illnesses.

MORNING OF DECEMBER 10, 2007=I had awoken to prepare for my appointment that day. About thirty minutes after waking I was experiencing acute pain due to some long-standing medical problems; I knew that I was sick and should not venture into the outdoors. Also on Friday and during the weekend, I'd been suffering from another upper-respiratory condition; these viruses are due to a severely compromised immune system and cannot be helped. I'd called my transportation, Mrs. Julia Davis (under employment of Rakesh Ranjan) to tell her that I shouldn't be traveling today; but since I was threatened with being without my medications which I desperately am in need of, I was forced to attend the appointment, though the office staff knew very well that I should not be outdoors. Remembering how badly treated I had been by Dina during our last session, I had become frightened. I made a call to the office and had spoken with Mrs. Barbara MacDonald, Dr. Ranjan's secretary. I gave strict instructions that there was to be no further abuse or a second charge would follow. Obviously the message never got to Dina, because when I was ushered into her office and I stood up to her to defend myself, the nurse-practitioner began to torture me with a barrage of verbal fire which contained a damaging mixture of mental and emotional torture; these types of ongoing terror tactics used by Dina the nurse practitioner and Dr. Ranjan as well, left uncorrected, have on both occasions caused me to cry so hard that I could not breathe; I had to try very hard to hold it all in until I reached home. Had I cried in Dina's office, they would have just pink-slipped me, in order to further torment me. This psychiatrist and most of his "aiding-and-abetting" staff do not like it when a patient stands up for their rights. And why should they like it? If it gets out into the open, are officially sued, found guilty and their licenses to practice medicine are removed, they'd lose their livelihood; a woman like myself who stands up against their brutality is a threat, especially to Dr. Ranjan. (NOTE: 1. I was denied the right to vocally record my session with Dina, so that she would not have any evidence against her; 2. Dr. Rakesh Ranjan M.D. will probably try to discharge me in retaliation for exercising my right to seek justice against him, including filing the charge with the medical board.)

By the way, there is a witness to sexual harassment of female office staff by Dr. Ranjan himself. According to this witness, several of Dr. Ranjan's former employees were also subjected to a barrage of abuse, this type being sexual. They filed complaints with the state of Ohio's medical board, and I'm assuming had also sought legal assistance that Dr. Ranjan's patients are either too frightened to do or simply cannot afford. According to my source, Dr. Ranjan seems to have settled down.

Settled down? I think not. With two ex-wives under his belt and a known record of abuse toward former female employees, it is apparent that Rakesh Ranjan has a problem with women, especially those who are free-thinking and those who won't tolerate his abuse; Dina the nurse-practitioner obviously has a problem with abusing her authority. As far as Dina and Dr. Ranjan are concerned, I'm positive that I'm not the only patient that they have abused, but the only one that will stand up to them, at the risk of both my health and life.

There is another reason I am afraid: Dr. Ranjan, out of retaliation will cut off case management, a service that is very vital to my existence. Julia Davis, another of Ranjan's employees, has also abused her authority over me; I will be filing a separate complaint against her very soon. Mrs. Davis has been recently fired by me for retaliatory behavior and abuse of authority causing severe mental, emotional and physical illness. Davis' supervisor will undoubtedly deny me a new case manager to replace Mrs. Davis, another retaliatory move.

Action(s) Taken:

By the time this complaint reaches both Dr. Ranjan's office and Ohio's medical board, this complaint will be ALL OVER THE NET, on TWO SEPARATE SITES, POSSIBLY THREE, in addition to emailing this to a list of public servants which may include the state of Ohio, both my senator and congresswoman, a few local newspapers and the Summit County Medical board; some licensed attorneys may be the recipients as well. The web version of this complaint can be found by going to these two sites: 1. http://f.hinkle.tripod.com;   2. http://www.f-hinkle.350.com/letter_to_dr_rakesh_ranjan_md.htm.

Let me make this perfectly clear: I want both Dr. Ranjan and the above-mentioned employees to pay for the damage they've caused.  I'll not tolerate the abuse of authority from any medical facility without dire consequences.  If I cannot get justice via a licensed attorney, then I will get it by smearing the above-mentioned persons all over the Internet.
